Exclamation WP7 on HD2 [Cotulla Development status preview]

Real or fake? You decide!

Mod Speak: Cotulla is a very trusted developer and would most likely not release a fake video, he is 100% legit in the deving community. He brought linux and further pushed android to the HD2, along with tons of other things .

This. And Da_G said he was working on it. Pretty awesome. Now how usable will it be is the question. Will we be able to get around the per-device cert? Da_G was pretty pessimistic on it.

This bootloader looks the same as the one from the Android NAND development.
So this MUST be Cotulla and the Darkforce team.
Cotulla said the following thing on twitter:

"Remember this is just DFT team tests, please never ask about release date and etc. Please don't annoy with questions...Future will show all."

So please don't annoy him with questions like:
"When is it finished" etc.
1st Device: Nokia Lumia 920
2nd Device: HTC HD7 T9292
3rd Device: HTC Touch HD2 T8585 (Android toy)

XDA is about developing and is for developers. Any user that recognizes that will gain the most benefit from this site

This is and always will be a site for developers, pure and simple. Without them we are nothing, without them there would be no reason for XDA Developers to exist; we should never ever forget that. Without them this place would not be called XDA-Developers but something else, e.g Mobile Phone User Support Services For Ungrateful Nerds.

I'm not fully convinced.
It just seems like a similar HaRET boot into Android (noted above), a new splash screen and launching directly into one of the many WP7 skinned apps.

Hopefully it will be out for cooking soon, but we'll have to wait and see...
