Have a look at the first post by kalpik in the battery mod thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=765419
There's an instruction and a script to manually change a file that is used for the battery mod :
Quote:
Manual Method 2 (recommended):
- Extract framework-res.apk from the downloaded file.
- Open root explorer, and copy the framework-res.apk (extranced above) to /system/framework/ chose yes for overwrite.
- Things may start force closing, but its normal. Wait for a minute, and then reboot phone.
Automated (don't use it unless you know what you're doing. Known to cause problems):

Download this tool.
Download desired file from OP post.
Extract the tool.
Extract framework-res.apk from the downloaded file and copy it into the extracted tool dir.
Run Change Framework.bat
Accept the Superuser Permission prompt on the phone.
The script will reboot when it's done

Instead of downloading a modded file, look for the framework-res.apk for your rom. Follow the above instructions and things should be working again.
(Maybe this will also work for the other problems)
BTW a prerequisite is that you have USB Debugging turned on. If not try the update.zip method with the original framework-res.apk

if that's true, and there will be no other possibility, then it's just one fcking great app, and there should be BIG RED INFORMATION,k that "this new feature has never been tested before and can, and will kill your phone"... since now i told myself, i won't be angry on developer, but now i'm really furious.
Onw more question weed86, how did you manage with that problem?

Yup, same here on the Captivate. Stays on the AT&T white boot screen.
So much for 5 star and positive rating on the Market.
If I had just accepted the lag fix and that's it...

I did not :S - The pre-requisit is the 'USB Debugging mode ON' -to try the mthod pasted. how can you do that after bricking the phone.
-
I did the same Recovery/Hard reset ( 3 button combo) . and Now it's even refusing to go into the Recovery mode OR the Download ( for re-flashing to the stock firmware) !! seems like even that 3 button combo thing is not working anymore . Just keeps coming to the Boot screen ( with the logo) . Get the sound but no animation . And all this for getting a simple LOCK freaking screen
I searched and searched and it's a deadend - Tomorrow would probably be giving it in.
