A2SD CachePart

Liquid, Can we use a2sd cachepart (dalvik to cache partition) with this rom? It works great with nFinite stock .7 rom and this rom has that as a base.

Liquid, thanks for great running rom. I flashed the supercircle battery mod and reinstalled the voicemail app and the sprint navigation. I think this is exactly how I want my phone setup. Everything is working smoothly. Will post any issues that come up for reference purposes. Thanks again.

I loaded you ROM and everything is working well. I have several apps loaded and still have over 120mb left. That's great. I also use the Sprint VoiceMail but I had it on my sd card already. Everything is fast.

Is App2SD on this ROM? Has anyone tried Swapper on it?

I flashed this mainly trying to find a good sense rom for a coworker. Was amazed by the speed. Never really cared for sense, at least not 2.1, but you did a great job liquid.

This is my favorite ROM now, this is the best, fast, stable, SENSEUI ROM I have used and it now is my Daily ROM. Thank you LiquidSense!

Wow liquid's the new fresh around here or maybe Nfinite....

How do I keep USB Debugging from turning back on at each boot? I keep it off unless I need to use it.

Had to fight with Market to get stuff installed. Saw something about logging into gTalk and such, but nothing worked. Rebooted and it worked.

Anyway to get facebook to only sync with contacts you already have on your phone? I don't need to have everyone I'm friends with on Facebook to be in my contacts. I know the standard facebook app allows this (at least on a 2.2 rom).

Having problems with ROM Manager sometimes "An error occurred while attempting to run privileged commands!". Google really wasn't much help, mostly outdated posts. Only ROM i've had that error before.

Speed is crazy. I noticed you said it could be overclocked past 691, but OC Widget won't clock it past 691. Maybe it's a bug with OCW.

Hands down, best 2.1 Sense based ROM yet IMHO. Pefect mix of speed, stability, size, and features.

1) Facebook sync - follow the standard HTC Sense route. D/l Facebook app and login. Then go to settings/account sync/Facebook. Allow time for sync. Done.

2) Rom Manager "fix permissions" doesn't play nicely w/ Sense ROMS. Shouldn't be an issue, though, if you're not having FC's on anything anyway.

3) In regards to OC, try SetCPU if you're experiencing issues w/ OCW. Make sure you select the "auto-detect" speeds option.

That's nice and all, but you didn't answer my question. I know HOW to sync with facebook.

I took a look. I think somethign went wrong during the flashing process, because it appears you have some sort of corrupted widget issue. The only thing I can think of is that you might not have fully wiped before installing the ROM.

Excellent! It should only get marginally faster the longer you use it. But do let me know if you run into issues.

Great to hear . Again, I don't actually use or test A2SD, but I've left it cooked into the ROM the same way NFinite did for his, so if it worked on his, it will work on mine. I suggest you Nandroid, try it, and let us know!

Hmm. The market has been a bit hit or miss lateley, and it's largely a fault on Google's side. Not much we can do about it . As for the Facebook Sync, once you get the contacts synced, press "Menu" in People, and go to View. Set it to only show people with phone numbers, and uncheck Facebook. It'll still show all the Facebook pictures for Contacts already in your list

As for ROM Manager, what are you trying to use it for? I have only ever used it to install Clockwork Mod. I prefer to flash my zips through recovery.

Finally, as far as Overclocking goes, I've found in pngopted/zipaligned ROMs, OC Widget tends to have issues working properly. Use SetCPU (it's available for free here on XDA).

EDIT: Whoops, on the subject of the USB Debugging, it's a script in the ROM that turns it on at boot as far as I'm aware. This is because a lot of people need to use ADB frequently (at least, people on this forum board) and it saves them some time. I'd remove it, but it's just a bit too useful . Sorry!

Don't worry guys, I haven't forgotten about this ROM. Things have just been a bit busy what with midterms and all.
