Default [Q] JPA newer Froyo than JP6 from Kies?

Hi Guys,

I did the reg trick and had the Kies download froyo JP6. (swedish)

Just out of curiosity, connected to Kies today -
Kies upgraded to 1.5.3.10103_100
and is offering a firmware upgrade too:
Current version: PDA:JP6 / Phone: JPM /CSC:JP4
Latest version: PDA:JPA/ Phone: JPP /CSC: JP4

Is this a newer Froyo ?
Would you recommend disable lagfix and reset to factory defaults?

Thanks

Yes JPA is newer than JP6. Always uninstall lag fix prior to flashing ROM. It is recommended to perform factory reset and delete cache but not absolutely necessary.

No issues with the Dutch JPA firmware. Flashed it thru Kies, then CF root and voodoo on it and running smoothly now.

Hi Lads.

I've also updated to [PDA:JPA/ Phone: JPP /CSC: JP4] and now can't figure out, which file to use from this post to Root it...

Can somebody please suggest?
Thanks in advance.

[Update]
This one worked fine for me: CF-Root-JPJPA-v1.2-Busybox-1.17.1.zip
