[Q] Upgrade to 2.1 with root access?

Hi everybody

I'm a newbie about smartphones... SE X10 Mini Pro is my first one

The phone is very cool, I enjoy it, but I'd like to update it to 2.1.

I have rooted it with success using Universal Androot, I can explore the root files using ES File Explorer... but I don't know how to edit build.prop to change it to a nordic "version" ^^

Ciao fai cosi:

Ciao , io ho semplicemente cambiato le tre stringhe con 1238-0459 ( 3!!)
e poi con seus ho aggiornato, usa root explorer per modificare il .prop, salva e riavvii e avvii seus , a me ha funzionato da Italia per sicurezza ti allego il mio file .prop che ho modificato con il numero 1238-0459

I dont know if u can change the build.prop file with es
i did it with root explorer and this is what u should do:

in root explorer go to system and press the mount r/w in the top right corner
long press the build.prop file and click on open with text editor
here u have to change 3 numbers that look like this: 1238-???? (the ???? are the ones u need to replace)
replace the ???? with 0549

remember u have to replace that number in 3 places (they are all almost at the beginning of the file)

restart the phone, conect it to the pc via seus and voilá

So in my file, I have three time 1240-0917, it is not like mauwri's one.

I joined my file, tell me if it seems strange or normal ^^

hum sry i miss-read ur first post my first explanation was for an x10 mini and not the pro version.
as far as I know I never saw that number 1240-0917
the number of the build.prop in the nordic fw is 1238-8536 for the pro version

so i dont know if u have to change the whole number or just the last 4 digits cause my mini was already 1238-????

maybe someone else that has a pro can say something about this
