unfortunately i think this will be the case from now on. The days of fully rootable phones i think are over (at least from HTC)

I don't think the rooting of phones is over. We have some very smart devs that are working hard to figure this out. I just think it'll take longer than normal to pull it off?

i returned my G2 and got the myTouch 4G.. liking it much better than the G2 (not a big keyboad fan) and it felt rather bulky

Glad I did..
