Unhappy Windows Phone 7, total disappointment.

Greetings.
I have an HD7. I bought so many illusions, but it was a total disappointment. It moves very fast, this is perfect. But Microsoft forgot important details. File Explorer does not exist, nor Phone Search, and the option to synchronize the daily papers went completely ignored, they forgot it. I think only options were based on multimedia and forgot the professional market. The option is Mobile Device Center is very important for those who work daily editing Word documents. I hope Microsoft does something with these situations, for music, photos and videos is not going to give them hope to push this operating system. Zune also use our device to synchronize limited. I think back to my HD2 if not get a solution with my HD7.
If anyone knows a solution to my problem please post it.

Saludos.

office mobile is on the phone so I don't understand why you can't edit word documents...
Yes this phone is very mutlimedia heavy, it's obvious that microsoft is pushing this first towards the general market to try and reclaim some market share. That has been pretty obvious from MWC earlier this year.

Your post does not make any sense.

- The Office HUB is present by default in WP7 and you can see/edit Office documents
- Zune is the best music / video management software on the WP platform

Yes Microsoft has clearly targeted the general population with this release, this is not a surprise, it has been communicated wildly in the previous months so unless you live on a desert island and you bought the phone without reading a line about it or even coming here and see everybody's rant at the future OS, there is no way you could not know.

for me the hardware was much more of a dealbreaker than the OS. I actually really like WP7 but the HD7 has a subpar camera with a terrible camera button. The bezel was coming away from the side on my phone. Also i got very spotty signal.

On the OS side, there is no reason to slide to unlock and then press accept to answer a call, that always annoyed me.

I have done the same mistake as you

I bought the HD7 with WP7 on it, but without read any information about the new os before.

I was very disappointed, about this minimal os and no or a few administrator functions, as i realized that. And i dont believe that Microsoft leave their new politic line in future, that other developer could write some system tools we need.

Before i used a HTC Blackstone with installed MN6.5 and i ve thought that WP7 was only new released to make it faster and with some new functions or updates, so as the new OS for PC Windows7.

But they deliver a "dumb user device"

No Explorer, no other Browser possible, no static ip, not much setting options, and so on, and so on.

For me an useless PocketPC!! Its a Multimedia Player with an integrated Telephone.

The Hardware from HTC is very nice, but i hope now for an imminent Jailbreak to use more soft, or a possibility to update the rom with old WindowsMobile6.5.

I wrote my opinion to the german Microsoft Support Forum too, that they have a negative feedback from an advanced user.
You all should do it too, that they notice the Dissatisfied!!!

Regards

You bought a phone without research and are now disappointed that it does exactly what is said it would do?

A matter of weeks after launch you complain it hasnt got the tweeks / feature unlocks and so on of a mature OS? Can't think why.... can you?

Why be an early adopter if you cant live with what that entails... My HD7 is vastly nicer and more reliable than either my previous Galaxy S and the iPhone 3g I had before.

They both got better with age - so will WP7 and HD7.

You can easy spell Mr. Mod Have you a device with WP7 on it? Your signature shows that you use HD2-Leo with "custom ROM" on it )
That wouldn't be possible in future, if M$ keep on this way. isnt so?
