Cotulla Finally updated! WP7 on Hd2 "is" coming... but
Less than 1 Minute ago!:
Looks like it will be coming but since it can't bypass the "Genuine" check, the OS is pretty useless.

I wonder if you can still use wifi and surf the internet and do everything without using LIVE services.
Heck, I don't even use live.com, hotmail.com, xbox, and all that other stuff.

I hope I can still use OneNote though

Anyone?

As well as MAGLDR development (used by Android & WP7) a bit delayed, because some problems takes more time.

it will be released soon, but don't expect anything from it - without Live services it's not really usable :(

But new "Windows Phone Genuine" doesn't allow to use any Windows Live services :( So it's mostly "Demo" of WP7. No bypass ways are known

We (DFT team) at the end able to run WP7 on our LEOs, most of stuffs are really working: GSM,GPRS,Camera,GSensor,USB,SD,BT,WLAN,etc.

Can someone compile a list of all the things that WONT work?

That'd be great since it can help us determine what is most important - since for example, I can care less about xbox and live.com search than I would care for working wifi, and data connection etc.

An idea.....maybe a program can be made to pass off a copy of a genuine code? Don't flame me for the idea, I'm not a programmer. It just came to me in a thought.

The HTC Hub is HTC's answer to no Sense on the HD7...or other WP7 devices. MS doesn't allow custom configurations on WP7 and this means no Sense. So HTC produced an app with sense-like features.

I think WP7 will be even more restrictive than iOS ever was. With iOS jailbroken, the majority of the phone features were usable. But with WP7, any custom ROM would lose the core functionality of WP7.

EDIT - Very clever...those MS boys...lol
