I quote the previous post as well--the same two files didn't delete/overwrite.

I would love to get this skin to work...any other ideas (besides HR then install?).

Try the version without files Mfc80u.dll, msvcr80.dll (Should use your files).
But will work if the version of files Mfc80u.dll, msvcr80.dll at you it is identical with files, that I use.

If it will not help, I think, it is necessary to use ROM editing tool. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=34171 , http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=33796 )

One other thing...

Can the "Call status" (the window that pops up when you press dial) font be changed from black to white?

The black doesn't bode to well with the Sun. I would like it white, like the rest if it is possible....

what happens when you go into landscape mode, booya? Youre the only one here that i know has a ppc-6700. I wanna install it, but I don't want any crashes. let me know the pro and cons, if you can.

Hey Geo,
I have a question. I have an Eten skin that I love, but it wont work with the the smart dialer. It is an Orange skin that is the same set up as the Eten skins but with more functions. Like the incomming caller screen is skinned, and the pictures are nice and big. Anyway, I was wondering if you could figure out how to integrate it. I can kind of get it to work if I just install it over your eten skin that uses the system fonts, and then change the reg setting at HKLM/Security/Phone/skin from etphone.dll back to phcanhtc.dll. I have even tried changing these .dll's but that hasn't been working either. Any help wold be great!!

Well here's the funny thing with Landscape--

I had previously installed the "Pauly Red" Eten skin. So now, when I go into Landscape, I get a crazy hodge-podge of Blue-Red Eten that I cannot read.

Other than the White Font (which could be from the old Red Eten skin) the Blue skin w/dialer works saaawwwweeeet! I love it!!!

No crashes--period...and I have a LOT of junk installed too ;-)

If you wish to change color of fonts, it is necessary to create a dword key named: textColor in the registry path

1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Phone\Skin\PROGRESS\Po rtrait\Text
2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Phone\Skin\PROGRESS\Po rtrait\VerbButton
3. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Phone\Skin\PROGRESS\Po rtrait\TalkEndButton
