I am sorry but HOW could those two things be related?

My data is not working either its just stuck on turning on. I wiped everything and still no luck. Please help.

Yes I've noticed the same thing that you just said. But it's a work in progress and to have the camera at least working is awesome in itself!! Also I noticed that the camera doesn't rotate with the phone if you go from portrait to landscape. and after you take a picture, if say you wanted to delete it right from the camera app it force closes. Just to be clear... you wiped prior to installing 0.2.6 or was it prior to patching to 1.0?

I wiped prior to installing 0.2.6 - I was coming from Skyraider 3.3.4

I hadn't even gotten around to the 1.0 update yet.....

just reflashed 0.2.6 again will see if it's happier before I try the 1.0 patch

Is getting a transparent notification background just an edit to services.jar and replacing the png in framework-res or is it something more now?

So I pulled the services.jar from this rom and it works in having a transparent notification bg, also adds back the location icon.

I guess push to /system/framework/ if anyones interested
