Which firmware and payload version are you?
PL3 have some freeze issues, give Hermes4b a try if that's the case...

I tried different payloads and the game i am trying to play is assassin's creed brotherhood. It stuck every time i start the game in 3-5 mins. and sometimes in same place.

It is very frustrating to play it.

Don't know if that's a known issue but did you try to backup the game to hdd0 again?
I had similar issues with RE5 regarding corrupted files...

Yea you are right. I will copy it back to hdd0 and try the game again.
And do u think it is safe to delete the old game folders from hdd0?

Because i use to download demos from playstation store and when i delete them, the folders still exists on the hard drive and take up space. Is it ok to delete those folders?

Right now all i have is 4 games on my hdd0 and it shows that i am left only with 5 GB of free space. my hdd0 size is 160GB. So that is why i want to delete old demo game folders.

No need to update to 3.41 entirely, you can keep the 2.76 fw since it's already supported by PL3! If you wish to keep 2.76 fw but don't now how to run it in your HD2, I'll might be able to help...

Regarding demos, uninstall/delete ALWAYS from XMB, otherwise might get corrupted files! But if after uninstalling demos from XMB, you still have the demo folder in hdd0/game, you can delete it by FTP or comgenie's explorer.

Regarding AC Brotherhood backup, if you will upload it back to hdd0, no need to delete it from your GAMEZ folder, just create a rule (if you don't have it already) in your FTP client, to overwrite files IF size different, this way it will only upload files that failed at your first attempt! ;)

New PSFreedom successfully ported to HD2.. Now few more tests then release with custom Android loader (barebone rootfs only for downgrading)... :)

Thx Axm9 for some hints on kernel config... :p

    I present the continuation of the thread started by Darkstone.

    Try to do compilations updated whenever time permits me.

    After several tests on various android roms I concluded to leave it at your choice.
    The steps necessary to adjust to your version of Android are:

    - Download: http://www.multiupload.com/LTJVZKCOLG
    - Extract in your Android folder
    - Edit startup.txt. Line: set KERNEL XXXXXX -> set KERNEL zImage
    - Run Android
    - Open GScriptLite (The scripts in http://www.multiupload.com/4XZXFBMGSS)
    - Choose the payload and Ps3 FW
    - Enjoy

    Update 28-Oct:
    Update to latest commits from kakaroto git
    http://github.com/kakaroto/PSFreedom/commit/a61ec1ebf08ccd826f7565ac2f34eb609028ad8f
    Kernel updated to Hastarin 7.7

    I'm gonna say no. I have personally asked klutsh (coder of psfmod) if he was gonna make one and he said no. All the people I have expressed interest in furthering this project have either rejected or ignored my requests. It would need its own special kernel compiled specifically for nand as well as psfreedom. Furthermore; all dongles/jailbreak methods will be obsolete in about a month, maybe less. PS3devs can now sign and run any code/homebrew on official firmware !
    Anyways it's been a fun ride with the tools Darkstone & managahoteles gave us for our HD2s *Thanx Guys !!!
    I personally am walking away from updating this project & thread. Thanx to all those that have contributed & helped others here. I will however, continue layin' down the funk here on XDA w/tutorials and helpful tools :D

    To put it on them all the devs would have to put it in their kernels. Once we get a Rom flasher in magdlr we could flash it ourselves cotullar and the clockworkmod writer may add the function. A wait and hope lol

    format sd card fat32 allowcation 2048
    extract files to card http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AYVA5WDE
    put in phone which is turned off
    hold the power button till boot menu appears
    use volume down bottom to scroll to section "8 services"
    press green call button to select
    select 1 bootsettings by pressing green call button
    select 3 scroll down using volume button ad sd dir
    press green call again to select
    then the android folder
    should take you back to the boot menu
    select 1 boot ad sd (boot android sd)
    android should boot
    gscript installed select ur payload

    Well i thought i would post a quick heads up. Been up for hours coding an app to make this whole jailbreaking with our HD2's super noob proof. In my app that i will release later today after some sleep and testing will give you the ability to modify your android build on the fly and decide if you want it set up for jailbreaking or downgrading.

    Update:
    all i have to do is create a icon for the app and figure out how to get the files to include in the cab. tested it with all files needed already and no bugs that i can see so far. im now going to sleep but when i wake up i will give it another stab at the issue i need to figure out.
