Can we receive an update with Battery Life of the kernels, especially the 2.2 kernels?

For example for me it was
JK2 Great Battery, Not as good data
JK6 Good Battery, Good Data
JL1 Not so great battery, Great Data

Just wondering, for the ODIN version of installing the roms. Aren't you suppose to download the file, extract the modem.bin, and place it into the "phone" section of ODIN, not the PDA? I always use the "phone" sectin to update the modem.


btw my title didn't make sense after I read it over. I meant, it is suppose to be phone section, not pda, right?
