[S4 Forum] Real S5 Accuweather Widget fully working

Hi,

i found it at S4 Forum and it works really nice. It is Albe95`s work.

I recommend before deleting AccuWeather a delete Cache and delete Settings. Maybe Stop it too.

My Experiences for the installation :
1. Download the files :
- S5 Accuweather widget from here
- Weatherdaemon from here

2. Remove both files from system/app : AccuWeather2013.apk and WeatherWidgetDaemon.apk

3. Reboot -> i made it like that. I don`t know if needed.

4. Install my 2 apk like a normal apk or you can copy both file to your system and they will work like system file too.

5. Reboot again

6. Open Touchwiz launcher and put the widget on the Home. And you have it.

Enjoy it.

I have a N9005(Snapdragon). I don`t have any problem. I am using with X-Note Rom(a modded one from me).
Maybe because of your CPU?

I already have the apk (plus launcher and some other) but I think that we need the framework of S5 because all app goes in crash

Hi, I'll see you are using also xnote rom. but the weather app = 4x2 and xnote = 5x2, how to make this widget app

I don`t have any problem. It is working as 5x2

Yes ! I think problem is it not running on N900 model.

If i say that, it works, then believe me.
Here is the screenshot for you.

Do you have a nativ 4x5 or 5x5 Launcher or did you change via dpi?
May be it will not work with changing dpi.
You need to have a nativ 4x5 or 5x5 Launcher. It shows me directly 5x Widget.

Which launcher do you use?

You can use Launcher from X-Note or from P4R14H PL

I am using the launcher from X-note at 290dpi.

But its not working..i

I am using at original dpi. I didn`t change the dpi values.
Is yours X-Note 13?
Try it firstly with original dpi.
