Developer was mentioning this already. I'm also waiting for the fix. My rom (on different device) shows 2 cames in skype whilst I have one only (front one). I even cannot get into Advances settings, because skype is crashing.

He mentioned he will fix it in next 2 days

I said I'd fix the crash in advanced settings!
Not video-calls. I'm not aware of that crash.
Please upload logs.

Sorry but I don't have much free time due to courses and projects, so I can't promise anything.

For me fixing crash is ok, I know what to do to make my camera work, only problem is that I cannot enter advanced settings.

I don't know if you saw my last message, so I am posting again.


I've tried uninstalling and installing , but doesn't work.

My VIDEO SETTINGS are :

Number os cameras : 2
Camera Info : Adroid 2.3.6
::CID:0, FACING:BACK,
ORIENTATION: 90
::CID: 1, FACING:BACK,
ORIENTATION: 90

...

CAMERA SETTINGS
Back Camera
Back Camera

I dont have front camera option, only back camera.

Could you tell me anything about it ?

theos0o, here are logcat's logs and device info for my crashes. I tried eveery sequence (I call, I receive call, I call with no video and then switch video on, etc.) but it crashes every time :( Hope that you could do sth

Don't want to hurry you up, you do a great job, but this is very important to me :/

hi theos0o!,

on my old phone htc hd2 there was and work the function "Toggle Flash".

BUT on my new phone SGS2 this function is not working. it's tell me that there is no torch on the phone.

what do you think about it and could you fix it? thanks!

    • Minor fixes here and there (vibration, chat, video-calls)
    • Speaker toggle while in call (just press your phone's MENU button)
    • Bluetooth audio toggle while in call (just press your phone's MENU button), uses *my* code for BT Audio, so you can try it for mono headsets or headsets that don't work with Skype's original BT support
    • Camera LED/flash support while in video-call (just press your phone's MENU button)
    • Advanced Settings:
    → Sign-in status picker, allows you to pick your desired status (availability), which will be applied automatically just after logging-in.
    → Keep screen alive, disables proximity sensor for calls
    → Force-enable video-calling, for phones that can't get video-calling enabled.
