Have no time , I'm testing R3 1.014.00 base now , hope to upload tonight.

Full deodexed , zipaligned , tweaked kernel like R2 and same features like R2.
But full based on 1.014.00

Ha ha Civato you crazy! I had only just downloaded R2 and installed that this afternoon! Now I see R3 is up, brilliant! Can I flash without a wipe and will the mods work the same?

Just like to say, massive props for this, some could say it's just a tweaked stock build, but it's more than that, and it's the little things that make all the difference right?

I always recommend full wipe.

And someone saying this is JUST tweaked stock , well to those I say , If you can do better , please do.
There were almost no custom roms here at A100 section until I posted one (and I don't have a A100 so this is just for you A100 users) , OK it is based on Acer release but it is tweaked , got apps that are not in stock acer and layout that isn't stock acer.

And it is a hobby and will always stay a hobby for me.

Only thing that matters to me is that the user enjoy's the rom !

Tried out the new base 1.014 rom. Ended up getting a com.android.phone force close over and over after an afternoon of use?

Gonna wipe and try over..

Might have got a bad download.

Can't get this new one to boot. Restoring my back up then I'll to download and try again.


Bad MD5 Downloading now.

All set still on R3. I don't use the ring, but did notice that the tiny flashlight app no longer works. Led works with other apps though, so no big deal.

Thanks Civato for all the effort and quick fixes.

Found problem , will upload R3.1 that solve this phone FC , it's when using the ring volume mute.

So I take down R3 , R3.1 will be on in 1 hour.

Does anyone know how acer print works (or how to print from it)? I got it to connect to my wireless printer...but none of my office-type apps have a print option for me to test

Poalris office has it.
It's included in the ROM.
Although i can't test it.Can't find my Canon pixma MP495.

If you are asking about flashing just the "stock kernel" or "modified kernel" AFTER installing the FlexReaper ROM. You can flash it in CWM by selecting install from ZIP then choose the kernel zip you want to install. It will install the stuff off the zip updating your existing install with what ever is on the zip.

If you are wanting to know how you root, etc, and/or flash a custom ROM, you can look at this post.

thanks for the help. i already root and flash the custom rom. im just not sure how to flash kernel on tablets. i know about flashing kernel on android phone and its totally different. thanks again.:)

    I don't have a A100 so I cannot fully test it , I test this rom on my A500 and G100W with a boot.img for those devices.
    This rom is a full base of the leaked ICS rom for the A100
    Active support is not my thing as I don't have a lot of time with 3 roms going on.
    But if I can I will jump in and try to help

    PLEASE FOLLOW THIS TO THE LETTER , if not acer ring and other stuff won't work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Installation,
    first take a full nandroid backup !!!!!
    -wipe all , factory reset , format !!
    -flash rom first with cwm or RA recovery
    -flash extra system apps if you want them

    CUSTOMIZING AROMA PACKAGES
    A100 users will need to reflash correct acerRing if they use a theme.

    FLEX-THEME_INSTALLER-ver2 (58MB)
    install 9 different themes , enable/disable AcerRing and a choise of 3 different bootanimations.

    FLEX-WIDGAPP-INSTALLER-ver2(274MB):
    install all the Acer apps , extra apps and Widgets that you want . (Games/Acer file managers are installed in data so can be removed from within the app drawer)

    FLEX-WIDGAPP-INSTALLER_noGames-ver2(130MB)
    (Same as package above but no games so file is smaller)

    FLEX-WIPER-ver2: (3.8MB)
    Use this if you want to remove any of the apps or widgets you installed with the FLEX-WIDGAPP-INSTALLER (except , games/Acer file managers are removed from within the app drawer)
