Yes, some people commented it, I eliminated from clean rom some htc widgets and weather too as I don't use them, (I use "beautiful widgets")
Its weather.apk, the one that makes weather from the widget not working .
You can get it from the stock rom, but nevermind, I am going to put it back again later and reupload it, sorry about that

Thanks a lot mate really apreciate your work.

1st of all I need to thank and give huge credit to a few people:
Yannou90 -> for giving the kick-off for the custom european pico rom
jitin02 -> for all the little solutions between builds and the "how-to's" (They got me going on this rom-building journey)
jaggyjags -> for providing the next lvl of the build and all the help behind the screens.
dsixda -> for his awesome tool (http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=633246)
all the other builders -> I'm learing alot from disassembling your work :D

Here is my spin-off of the Jaggy1.0_rom.

http://www.mediafire.com/?1rxe4piq6dc1zz9

It's a mix between the clean and stock version.
- weatherwidget clock added
- fixed Sence crash when using the clock widged (Happend only when you chose the clock 3)
- added scriptmanager
- added Languages *
- added custom bootanimation
- added more wallpapers

* Some languages only work partly, they change the language on most of the app's, the privacy statements, the acknowledgments, the browser, android market. But not the language of the phone's settings etc.
I'm still looking for a solution but I fear that this is the most I can make for this rom version.
If you want/need keyboard predictions I suggest you use a 3th party keyboard with your language packet.

I'd say its really important to have the languages working fine in order to have a nice ROM.

Its not about the OS language but the keyboard and prediction.
Nice work anyway, hope u figure out the language problems!

Hey,

I have also created a custom rom:

[ROM][Htc Explorer / Pico] RaanguRom (based on "JaggyRom")

Maybe JaggyJaggs, Cosmoon and I should work together on a super rom :D

raangu

I think that if we all pull togetheter we can make that super-rom.

Looking forward working with you.

---------- Post added at 12:39 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:34 AM ----------

@ pomnhim there is a small info file in the zip that tells you what features the rom has + how to use them

To avoid reuploading, for those who want to keep their data after flashing, just delete these two lines from the uptaderscript

Code:
format("yaffs2", "MTD", "userdata");
mount("yaffs2", "MTD", "userdata", "/data");
inside "META-INF/com/google/android"

choosed the green version finally because i had difficulties seeing the scroll bar over white backgrounds like market and the glow wasn't seen properly (not well faded).

Where do you store contacts? Phone? Simcard?
It just happens when you receive calls?
I use my contacts from sim card and no problems at all. With this I avoid loosing the numbers when flashing other roms, I avoid having to make a backup of them.
Tell me more about the problem to help me figure out.

I use them from the sim as you do. Its happens to me in whatsapp too. Send a message to a friend and half an hour later it doesnt recognize the number anymore. Maybe i have to reinstall it. What steps should i take before installing the zip to avoid problems?

It doesn't recognize the number in wasap only?
If you fo to your sin contact list is it still there?
You can do the following things to solve it.
1. Install rom manager and use "fix permissions"
2. Rebuild dalvik cache from A2SDGUI.

If any of these work, to reinstall rom, to be sure is done correctly wipe everything, cache and data before. Normally with cache is sufficient.

Tell me how it goes.

It is extra code application create for them to run. In rare occasions, when you are rooted application can modify it and some applications don't work properly, to fix it clean dalvik and restart phone. This it what you are doing.

I noticed the same problem today, but I imported my contacts (didn't flash rom for 2 days so toke the time to import) to the phone and indeed after reciving a sms or call the contact is gone.

Fixing the permissions solved the problem for me. For the moment it did. If it's not working after a day of testing i'll try the 2de solution.

*Jaggyjags the wizard is again pulling solutions from his high hat*

    previous versions

To update to a newer version you dont need to wipe anything, it will all be done automatically. Wiping dalvic cache is recommended. No fixing permissions or any other thing is necessary.
    3. Instructions, please read carefully

    • IMPORTANT: you need recovery by yannou90 with ext support to use this rom, please follow step 3 from this tutorial (or 1 to 3 if you have not rooted your phone yet).

    • (not needed from version 2.3.1) To move your Dalvic cache open "A2SDGUI" app and press "move" in the dalvic tab. Free up +60mb!

    • use "Titanium backup" to move data to sd card ext partition, choose apps you want to move their data, long press on them and select "move app data to sd". Both data and lib files will move. You can also select batch option to move several applications data at the same time. select a single app first so data folder is created.Check what apps are using the data with "DiskUsage" browsing /data

    • Install the .zip in the recovery menu (install zip to sd option) once you unlocked your bootloader and flashed your recovery. Tutorial by me here.

First time installing this rom? Take a look at the first time user detailed tutorial by mahmudaq(thankyou dude ;))

    • Do a factory reset after making backup of your apps (with titanium backup... etc.) if you have a different rom (stock...).

    • Apps will install automatically to your SD partition. Partition your sd card before (before flashing recommended) to Ext2,3,4 (not fat32) format using programs like Minitool partition wizzard, or using recovery option (no swap needed). Around 500mb-1Gb partition would be fine to start with (depends of how many apps installed). (don't make it greater than 2gb). If you use "Minitool partition wizard" remember to leave the first fat32 partition at the left and then a primary Ext2/3/4 partition.
    Untitled.jpg

    • To check used/free memory on SD partition browse /system/sd with "DiskUsage". Internal memory in /data
    2012-02-24_18-13-11.jpg 2012-02-24_18-13-30.jpg

    • NOTE: If you want to be able to make a full nandroid backup, including your ext partition, you need the custom recovery made by "yannou90". I updated the recovery (on february 21st) on my rooting tutorial, just download it and flash it.

    4. FAQ Never post a question before reading.

Q Phone freezes and reboots randomnly. I have installed the rom following the correct procedures. Whats going on?
A Some phones have problems with the overclocked kernel provided with this rom, the best alternative is cranium kernel by sakinda123. Follow this link to flash it.

Q After installing many apps one or a few have stopped working, force
closing. Phone reboots when updating apps. Rebooting phone doesnt solve the probem.

A Some people reported this problem, fix it by going to APP2SDGUI and pressing "rebuild" ig you are experiencing force close of apps. If the phone shows a black screen when trying to install an app and shows the bootanimation for a short time, do a normal restart to fix it.

Q Apps still install on the instarnal memory, I have to move them manually using link2sd or simillar.
A Apps will appear to your system that they are on the internal memory but they are NOT, they are just linked to it. To check the memory go to /system/sd with "DiskUsage" for the sd partition and internal memory in /data. select [root required] to be able to select them in the application.

Q I want to modify battery mod, add scrolling glow or make other customization to them rom, how can I do it? Could you upload it?
A As every person has different likes about customizations of icons and colours, If you want to customize your rom visit http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/
upload the required system files from the zip and after downloading the modified ones swap them and install the rom normally.

Q I just installed the rom and every time i try to install an app,the screen goes blank and I get the startup animation...this happens even after I restarted my cell twice...any help?
A Go to A2SDGUI and rebuild dalvic cache. If this doesnt work remember you had to use the recovery from rooting tutorial here, step 3. NOT the recovery installed from "Rom manager" and make factory reset with it before installing the rom.

I will kindly answer to your questions but please not repeated ones, try to search the thread before you post.
    5. Themes, flashable through recovery

Thank you jaggyjags for this amazing ROM! :)

This was my first attempt at customizing my first Android device so I was new to the whole rooting scene and all. But, things went pretty smoothly and I'm now running the overclocked kernel version of JaggyROM (2.5.1) with an 8GB Kingston Class 4 SD card. The ext4 partition I made was around 1.4 GB. All apps install and run smoothly and am not getting pestered by that low internal memory error message any more!

For the benefit of other first time users, I've put together the steps I took when starting with a fresh device with no special apps or data that need to be backed up.

Before proceeding, make sure you have an SD card inserted which you know you can access on your PC as well as phone.

    1. Backup your existing ROM first (steps a to f):
    a. Follow jaggyjags' Rooting tutorial to the point where it says "ROOTED!!" Do NOT reset/wipe anything.
    b. Reboot into Recovery menu.
    c. Select "Backup and Restore"
    d. Select the "Backup" option (don't remember the exact text)
    e. When done, select the Reboot System option
    f. Connect phone to PC using data cable and copy the folder clockworkmod from the sdcard to somewhere on your PC in case its needed for restoring later.

    2. Prepare your SD card, using MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition,
    a. move all existing data on the SD Card to your PC and delete all files from it. RESIZE your existing FAT32 partition to a size where your unallocated space is at least 1GB but not more than 2GB.
    b. Create a new ext4 Primary partition using all the unallocated space.
    c. Apply changes

(I've written RESIZE in CAPS because when I tried deleting and creating the FAT32 and ext4, my phone didn't recognize the formatting as valid. So I allowed the phone to reformat the sd card and then did it using resize FAT32 instead)

    3. Copy the latest version of JaggyROM.zip to the sdcard root. Don't place in any folder. Rename it to update.zip

    4. Disconnect the USB cable and reboot into Recovery menu again.

    5. Select "Wipe data/factory reset" option. Note that this option is present in the Recovery menu and is not the "Factory Reset" option available outside of Recovery menu.

    6. Select "Install zip from SD Card" and "Apply /sdcard/update.zip" and confirm.

    7. Once done, select "reboot system"

    8. First boot takes a little longer than expected so be patient and don't try to reset the device. The JaggyROM boot screen will show up: amuse yourself with the animation and refrain from touching the device :)

    9. Once booted up, let it sit a while longer to stabilize before unlocking the screen.

    10. If you've installed the overclocked version of JaggyROM, go ahead and install the latest version of SetCPU. If you're a community member, you can download and copy the apk file to the SD card and then use EasyInstaller to install it. Set the recommended settings for SetCPU to start with.

    11. Install System Panel Lite from Google Play to see the stats on your turbo charged CPU.

    12. And the most important part of this effort: enjoy installing as many apps as you want without worrying about low internal memory! :D

    thanks
    I'm waiting for this

    ;)

by the way, just reuploaded without setCPU, it wont work in the system memory, install it manually if you wish.

    Safe to remove system apps

I will keep the stock apps for the moment. There are many users who use apps I don't and don't know exactly which ones are only spyware and are just junk.

With this new kernel swap is supported according to developer.

I experimented quite a bit on this. Going all the way to a pure barebones system gives some pretty impressive performace gains (felt, not measured, but ery impressive all the same). But then, at that point, the phone doesn't do much....

So, I came up with a build that works for me. Here's a small list of apps that I removed without losing any functionality I cared for. You might want some of these though... There are already a bunch of lists on this topic on xda but i will my own list up and what i know of each of the apps. As a disclaimer, I could be completely wrong somewhere, please check yourself and make sure. Thanks!!
