Thanks buddy! I appreciate it.

For those losing NFC, you are probably flashing the wrong files. If my memory serves me correctly, if you are on aokp or oasp (such as CM10) you are losing NFC because the files you are probably flashing are not compatible and are meant for the TW based roms. As a test, make a nandroid, and then flash a TW based rom, even the latest stock rom or something, and use the files you have been using to try again. You will likely find that NFC continues to work. Now, the next issue is finding which files to use for an aokp or aosp rom. I'm currently on a stock rom, so I'll leave that one up to you guys. Let us know if this is the issue or not after you run my little test. Good luck.

With google wallet working and 7-Eleven right down the street, a slurpee would be nice if you feel like spotting me one. They're cheaper than beer. Just click the pic.

My NFC settings always disappears when I run the installer, or when I edit the build.prop myself, and flash com.google.android.apps.walletnfcrel.modaco.1.5-r87-v15.zip in twrp. I normally have to reflash cm10.1 and gapps to get the option back.
If you are running as AOSP based rom, such as CM10 or AOKP, simply flash the wallet app only. Or do like I do and manually place the apk in /system/app/ and change the permission to rw-r--r--. Modify your build.prop (I always use the htc_jewel settings), reboot, setup Google Wallet, restore the old build.prop, reboot and you are golden. The other zips that have the libs and modified NFC files are for stock roms only.

I've never had GW not work for me this way.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy SIII on AT&T having lost my IMEI only once....so far...

Which means, of course, someone didn't carefully read the OP.

Remove any instance of Google Wallet and Wallet installer (or however you got NFC back)...Then check out this link...I finally got it working...Make sure you disable auto update in the Play Store as well...I had to do the process a second time because it updated...

I'm running JB 4.2.2 and Cyanogenmod 10.1.0-RC2-d2att

That's the same as moonfire711's method, mentioned earlier in this thread. The only problem with that blog is that he's hosting his own copy of the apks. For security reasons, you really should download them from their respective sources.
XDA-Developers was founded on the simple principal that SHARING IS GOOD and when many people SHARE what they know, EVERYONE benefits. We exist upon this Ethos, we RESPECT each other, we SHARE with each other, we do not judge one another and we HELP all who ask. We believe that while some may have more knowledge than another, none are more important.
