Hi, I have 2 questions:
I foolishly flashed a version of the Android Revolution HD rom (that's what I get for not reading beyond 'Sprint support', I guess) and am now unable to access the Sprint network ('No Service' on main screen, 'x' above the signal bars) for data or calls. I can use wifi for data just fine, but not for calls. I'm hoping your guide will be able to restore that, but I'm having a problem w/ the process. I'm s-off (revone), but whenever I try the 'Fastboot oem rebootRUU' command, it hangs on the black background/silver htc screen (no green progress bar). Because I can't complete this step, I'm unable to proceed to the step where I should flash the s-off firmware.
What am I missing? I've completed the 3.04.651.2 ruu process, the phone's properly rooted, and I'm s-off (or at least the bootloader page says I am), but I always get stuck on step 5.
Also, is there another way to restore the Sprint network to my phone? In 'Settings'--> 'About'--> 'Network', the 'Operator name' reads: Unknown, 'Signal Strength': 0, 'Mobile network type': UNKNOWN, 'Service State': Out of Service. In 'Phone Identity'--> 'Phone Number' reads: Unknown. Of course, I'm unable to update the profile or the PRL. If I select the 'Activate this device' option, a 'Loading' message appears for a few secs, then 'Network Error'.
I've called Sprint customer service already and a rep took me through the ##72786# reset process, but that did absolutely nothing to restore service. The rep recommended that I take the phone in to the store which I will do if I have to, but only after I've done all I can on my end first.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
