I plan on getting one of those little universal mounts like this:

then get a gorilla pod. Should be a little bit more versatile and I can use a regular tripod at any time if I needed to thanks the the mounting hole.

The Arkon tripod works with phones up to 4.6", like the Galaxy Nexus. Like I said in my post, I've used that mobile grip holder on one of their car mounts with various phones, including the GNex.
