Only issue I have, and its with all the 4.2 ROMs, is it moves my internal stuff to mnt/shell ... in my download directory, I have certain apps, and when I try to install them, it says an error about parsing the package. I know this has to do with the multi user. But, I have no use for multi user. Can anyone tell me what are the benefits of this multi user stuff? Thank you! Much love though, nice, smooth ROM!

They call me "Jelly" cuz jam don't shake like this!

Always been a disclaimer in all 4.2 Roms. It's either stay on 4.2 or stay on 4.1.x

4.2 support multi user so they needed new setup to enable multiple storage parts for different profiles

My question though, is why would someone need multi-user? What does it do? How can I use it? Maybe for my different personalities? :D

Its never been implemented fully on a cell phone. Its a tablet option. Say u got a nexus 7, ur gf wants to use it and have her gmail account and her playstore apps and setup right when she logs in. Its like signing in on your family PC.

It allows for multiple users on one device a bit of privacy from each other.

Exactly,

My wife and I just got a Nexus and we didn't use this feature and she kept telling me when I got email. Got a little annoying and then I saw the feature and set it up. WAY BETTER!!!

I don't see the purpose on the cell phone though...

Nope because you still can't set password per account

That's cool but I agree, it wouldn't be useful to me on my phone. My wife has her own phone. And she doesn't share with me :( is there a way to get rid of it if you don't use it?

So far I'm really liking this ROM. Looking for compatible kernels just because. The only issue I seem to have is that my ringer doesn't loop. I have the metal gear codec ringer and it rings once but doesn't loop. I've been trying to find a setting for it but can't seem to find anything. I also just remembered the backlight on the menu and back buttons don't light up even when enabled in Settings>Advance>Sensors.

Other than those minor things it's been stable and reliable.

Having trouble getting this one to load correctly, had this problem on earlier releases also. Preface this with "I'm kind of a noob".

Coming from AeonFlux 6. Boot into TWRP, delete cache, dalvik, and system. Load your ROM, takes more than 5 seconds but does go quickly. Load GApps. Reboot. System sits at the strobbing Slimbean screen and never goes past that.

Fixed... Ran Full Wipe utility I found here

Turning my f up post into something more useful...

BUG LIST (I know it's an early Beta, just reporting what I find)
1. Install created the storage\emulated\0 and storage\emulated\legacy folders and created the folder structure inside them but didn't copy the files. Lost camera pic's and TWRP backups. (I had off system backups, luckily)
2. Camera crashes Gallery - Fixed, kind of. Moved all old pic's out of the DCIM folder, doesn't crash anymore. OK if I take new pic's.
3. Music via Bluetooth in my car gets distorted with pops and crackles. Pause & resume fixes it for a little bit. Disabling DSP Manager doesn't fix it. Using current version of PowerAmp as my player.
4. Song info not available via Bluetooth. No song title, artist, album, etc.

It is enabled, it stays at 3g when no data is being used then ramps to 4g when data is being used. All aosp ROMs have this setting to save on battery

    Build 4.1

    SlimBean 4.2.2 build 4.1

I know we normally don't do this kind of thing, but given the circumstances with the CM display updates and the fact that new kernels would not be compatible with build 4, we pushed an update to address that. You shouldn't have to do a full wipe to upgrade from 4 to 4.1. Obviously if you have nutty issues then wipe, reproduce & let me know.

    Changes:
    • Display and Audio CAF updates (CM)
    • Loads of kernel updates
    • SlimIRC nickname pop-up fix
    - Download build 4.1

I've also been providing you guys with an "addon" kernel. It's based entirely off CM's stock kernel with a few extras. The build 4.1 addon kernel has the following:
    • Latest CM changes as of 04/20
    • Minimum 192mhz frequency
    • Added governors: wheatley, lulzactive, dancedance
    • USB fastcharge
    • Vibration control (Settings -> Performance -> Vibration Strength)
    • Faux sound control
    • morfic/trinity colors
It's a kernel for people who don't want anything too fancy, just a little something extra.

    - Download build 4.1 addon kernel

The source is on my github here. Thanks to ktoonsez and GideonX!

Hey guys, if you're suffering from flickering here's a flashable zip fix. This zip is supplementary to the 4.2 build and only replaces your build.prop -- it is not a full ROM.
