I did test the new version. I successfully renamed the backup file. It works.

That's not an error -- just a statement -- you can safely ignore it.I get a failure when trying to backup my current ROM on internal or external storage. The error says "E: Unable to locate the sd-ext partition" My SD card is operating normally, I can access it files via the TWRP file manager and numerous file explorers on my phone. I'm hesitant to unnecessarily partition my SD Card. This same error occurred on TWRP 2.3.0.3 as well was the most current. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
I would gladly ignore it however the backup fails to run. This occurs whether a backup name is set or not. In my list of backups the file is there but the created folder is empty. At the top of TWRP it states Backup Failed. It may be unrelated to the sd-ext error but I cannot run a backup unless I am on version 2.2.1.1 or older. That's not an error -- just a statement -- you can safely ignore it.
If you did have a sd-ext partition, it would recognize it, TWRP is just saying it's not present. (CWM does the same)

Please do the following after the failed backup:
1. Press Advanced
2. Press Copy Log to SDCARD
3. Boot Android
4. Paste /sdcard/recovery.log to http://pastebin.org
5. Paste link here
Flashed the last 2 updates, no issues, keyboard works, fix permissions is REALLY fast.

I am having the same issue as Donjuanal with TWRP 2.3.0.3 and 2.3.1.1 and cannot backup any roms.
Here is the recovery log link: http://pastebin.com/1paUQWFJ
Thanks!!!
I'd like to find out about script to TWRP.
What I'd like to do is make a script or something that could be managed by Tasker to do scheduled nandroid backup.
For example, on the 1st of the month do a full backup called "Monthly 1" and another on the 15th called "Monthly 15" and have each overwrite the previous one.
Hi, can you try the following and report back:
Goto Settings and click Reset Defaults.
Try the backup again and post the logs here.
For those of you wondering, 2.5.0.0 does not have the screen timeout issue that affected some people. The new timeout is pretty slick actually.
