Color & Black Metal Taskbar (13/10/09) Uploaded Black Metal for WM6.5.1

Please Read Before You Download.

THIS IS FREEWARE... USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

Both Black Metal & Color Taskbar will Work on
most VGA, GSM devices with WWE Rom.

Update can be run directly from the cab file.
It will prompt to remove previous version during installation.

The cab is uninstallable so not to worry if anything goes wrong.
For those who want it. Please remember to install sdkcert 1st.
Only once need to be installed. Must install to Device for it to work.

For troubleshooting, please see section 3

(Section 3) Known issues and workaround. (To be updated)

1. Bluetooth Icon not showing
Bluetooth Icon only show when HTC Dialer is enable. If you are using Window Default Dialer,Download & install WM Default Dialer at Optional Files.
2. HTC Volume only show single control
Download & Install Sarcy's Restore Dual Volume Control
3. WM6.1 unable to open >Settings>Personal>Menus
Delete this file "shellres.dll.0409.mui" in your windows dir after installing the taskbar and soft reset. Not all device use this file.
4. CDMA Device Icon not showing
Install CDMA Fix cab file.
5. Why Signal Bar is still white?
Because WM6.1 Doesn't allow changes to its Signal bar, OK and X icon. Upgrade to WM6.5 to resolve the issue.
6. MMS Icons aren't change with some device like Diamond, Diamond II or Touch Pro with 480x640 Res.
Download MMSRes_480x640.dll and copy it into your device /Windows folder. If prompted to overwrite click yes.

looks very nice, will try it later today....did you manage to get the spacing between X, Battery and Volume right or is the battery still close to X and pretty far from Volume? that seems to be the case on all 6.5 rom taskbars :/

I already tried to install it. But just the splash screen changed not the taskbar... Is that the correct cab?

The X and Battery icons is a design from MS I think and there is nothing we can do. It is suppose to have a bigger pressing area for our finger.
What i did was to shift the Battery Icon to the far left of the given area so it won't look too close to the X icon.

Yes the cab is correct. have you install sdkcert?
I've reloaded the cab without the splash screen
