I got the idea that there are left-overs from a previous ROM. Are you sure you wiped dalvik/cache/data?

yes...it was the first thing i thought of....but even if i do it several times....the results are still the same...

I hate the same problem. I am going to use CWM to then wipe everything like crazy and then I am gonna install this.

Did you try wipeing using ele's adb command?

mount /system && rm -rf /system/* && umount /system

??

At the updater-script

Is the last argument really required? Maybe that causes the error?

hmm i made a new logcat:

(it changed its behaviour

now the screen goes black and after 15 seconds the bootlogo appears)

screen goes black at 14:20:51
and bootlogo appears around 14:21:17

okay....i'll try to use different kernels now

i dont think it will solve anything...but i have nothing to do right now....and who knows

----> didn't work...as expected

downloading the source code from the HeroC repo as we speak.........download is huge!........@stritfajt have u defined a vendor tree for our hero already?

Sorry for the late update, I've been away with the union this weekend.

You shouldn't use the HeroC repo. Check out http://github.com/TeamICS. We have a GSM Hero device tree there.

There's some fixes in ICS_FIXES, read the readme and it'll tell you how to patch those files.

Does it work without the SIM-card?

yes...perfectly....(like....everything else works what works in alpha4)....i'll make a logcat without simcard in a minute if you need it

edit: and it works with the sim card inserted, but flightmode on (but only if its in flightmode on boot...if i change to flightmode after the boot i still get a reboot...but after it restarts it stays on)

63.18.55.06SU_6.35.17.03 (latest)
63.18.55.06PU_6.35.15.14

and this kernels:
built-in flykernel13
Las_Venturax-0.6.0

and wifi works perfectly too...no other roms had issues like this either...so its not an hardware issue or an radio issue i guess

Same problem here too. My holland simcard not working, but my hungarian does. I hope u guys can fix it, couse really like this room. Keep doing this great work.
