Hey everyone!
I don't want to post this in Q&A in my opinion it's kind of developing.
Please correct my if I'm wrong.
My goal is to make my own rom (based on CM7/AOSP GB) after flashing almost every rom for my device, so I got a few questions:
What's the difference between our CM7 and AOSP GB? They pretty look alike (http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1639421)
And how can I change the build number?

I have been using CM9 Beta 3 of arco's and it was amazing..I just flashed this and i'm really impressed.:good:

Amazing! I flashed CM9 on my i9001 some days ago and almost everything works like a charm.
The only major issue I've found is a strongly reduced WiFi reception... has anyone else got this problem? Even in the same room as my router the icon of WiFi only shows 1 or 2 bars...
Also when calling, the phone get hotter than normal.
But you guys did a great job! You should all get a job at Samsung and tell them how to create a proper ROM.
