baseband t889UVAJ1

as for the modem if you mean the android version it's 4.1.1

i downgraded from 4.1.2

i just thought about something.. Could it be possible that when i downloaded the 4.1.1 firmaware, was i also suppose to get the modem?

from the list i seen factory image odexed deoxed kernel an modem..

what i did was only downloaded the factory image an flashed it with odin.

The factory image includes all components of ROM (bootloader, modem, kernel, system).
If phone is already on T889UVALJ1 then the unlock method should work.

Did you see a menu after entering *#197328640# ?
You can go back to this menu and check status of "[3]Perso SHA256 OFF"
Did you reboot the phone after this process, are you trying a SIM from a different carrier ? (just making sure)

Yea i did see the menu after entering that number..

i went to umts>debugging screen>phone control>network lock> 3 SHA256 OFF... waited the the 30 secs then went back an went to option # 4 NW LOCK NV.. an wait the 1 minit then restart.. when restart at the top right of screen where the wireless icon is i see a circle with a slanted line in it

when i go into the 4th option i see this
sha256_enable_flag[0]
sha256_off=>not change

Other than changing the network modes I cannot think of any other way, sorry.
