[Boot/down animations] "powered by Android Revolution HD" boot and down animations

Same here. Not working, wiped cache and so but just the android-text on screen. What to do?

Hi Rider, how easy (or hard) is it to make a boot ani? I wouldnt mind having a go as I have always fancied a splash based on Roger Waters "Radio K.A.O.S." album cover.

Ugh! Not a noob here but I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. I have overwritten the files in system/customize/resource with both the custom ad well as the stock and neither work. My bootanimation is now just the word "Android" with a bit of shining effect. No ARHD, can't get back to stock either. Suggestions?

You need to make sure you have write permissions for the /system/customize/resource folder

If that's ES explorer then make sure that Root Explorer is set to On under tools

Hey guys using arhd 53, can't get these to work. Copied to both system\media and system\customize\resources, fixed permissions, wiped caches...... Any suggestions?

They should be good on any ARHD rom.
Make sure you set write permissions to the /system/customize/resource folder when you copy them to it.

Hi rider,

Copied no problem but i still only get the standard Android in blue when booting.

Tried everything on this thread and no luck yet, even tried the other folder someone had suggested.

Change owner from root to system. That should work

Sending without a specific signature....

It seems that worked for the down animation but not the boot animation.
I reviewed permissions on the files and they're the same: rw-rw----
Also perms on the \system\customize\resource folder look good: rwxr-xr-x
Finally, I tried to delete the boot animation zip and re-copy it, changed owner again.
No luck, just get the dark background and shiny "andriod" boot animation.
Granted that's better than HTC stock one so for now it's fine.

Did the animation zip have the correct name? It should be "hTC_bootup_one.zip" without the quotes.

And remember - it's case sensitive.
