Interesting!

I was able to add my RBC debit via the web. It seemed to activate fine on the app. I purchased an app in the play store via the web while I was waiting for it to activate. I guess next step will be to try it in store with NFC.

Confirmed working with my TD Vist Debit card. I tried it last week on monday and it kept declining it. Wow google good job!!

Wait what? Ur saying google wallet works in a store now with canadian card? Where exactly did you try it?

Early last month, when I found that my TD Visa Debit wouldn't work, I sent an email to their support with a link and quote from their own "accepted methods of payment" page which indicated these cards are accepted, and they responded saying they're not. When I got the "customer satisfaction" survey, I sent the same information but never heard back and assumed it was lost in bureaucracy. Perhaps enough users raised their voices that we were finally heard!

Just now, I've successfully added my TD Visa Debit to Google Wallet and made a purchase from an independent online merchant. It worked!

Does it work in stores?
