Using a factory cable, I got my bricked Kindle Fire HDX 7" to show up as a "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" in device manager. Does anyone know what to do now?

EDIT: works with regular cable too

Also, does any developer want to do anything while I have my HDX in this mode? I got a replacement for this tablet from Amazon so I don't care if this tablet is damaged (hopefully for a good cause).

I wonder.

Would this be a good place to start for someone looking into a potential bootloader exploit?

Help with only a Blank Screen?

Hey all I was using a bootloader unlock and I hosed it (to make a long story short I didn't turn off software certification) up now all my kindle does is display a blank screen. No "kindle" in grey or bootloop, just a blank screen, I got a fastboot cable but still no luck with my Windows 8 machine being able to recognize/see my kindle. My question is: is there any hope for my kindle ever working again? Do I just need to hold the power button down for 5 mins (I saw that suggested)? I also have a linux box is there any software that would work with Ubuntu? Any answers are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
