[Q] I Have Root - But...?
I have the Revolution HD 22.1 installed on a HTC One Developer edition (64gb) and I am on AT&T. I also installed Superuser 18.104.22.168 by Koushik. I do have root status as confirmed by Root Checker Basic. The problem is that when I use an app like Tasker or any of the various widgets to shutdown, reboot, etc. my phone, I get a message saying that (Tasker or the widget) has been granted superuser status, but then another message pops up saying: "The command failed. This can be either because your device is not rooted or you did not grant the root access to the app". BTW I noticed in recovery "S-ON" is shown.
What can I do so that I can control shutdown, reboot, etc. by way of Tasker, widgets or similar apps. This was the main reason why I rooted so I could automate shutdowns and startups on my HTC One.
Thanks for any and all help.
