I'm on Bell and I did it is sweet lots of new stuff, a few glitches with ADW launcher, such as Hide status bar but got to give it time to catch up. I use mobile odin then after Titanium I reloaded TWRP. I didn't loose anything other than Ktoon kernel since it was ICS I'm tempted to try his AOSP JB

Can you post instructions with what you did exactly to get this to work?

Most simple questions, I don't think so. I did try weather on my Nexus 7 and that did work.

There was an update for Google Now in Play store, have you check to see if its updated?

The speak back has to do with the fact that this is Canadian firmware and in the system language options, we do not have English (US) as a choice. As such, we resort to Canadian english automatically, and hence no voice output from Google Now.

just to confirm the guide mixxy posted works and is very basic: stock Bell LH1, boot, go to download, flash CWM tar file, boot, go to SD card and flash the JB rooted leak within cwm -- it is worth the effort, JB is good and I have yet to find a hiccup

Thanks for the support. Lots of members have been able to get this working successfully. A lot of members are trying to flash to their devices using alternative, lets say modified methods, ie. mobile odin, rooted systems, on top of CM10, AOSP etc.

The guide i've provided is meant to be used on top of a samsung based rom, not AOSP or CM10 so I cant guarantee it will work the same way, but the community will help everyone the best it can.

Actually, I don't think that's it. I noticed it doesn't work no matter what JellyBean rom I'm on. Last time it worked for me was when I owned an Xperia Ion last month.

I can confirm that on Music Player and Mortplayer the mp3 output through headphone sound very poor, probably due to immature sound drivers. Anyone else experience this?

I just tried both Apollo and google play music app and they both sound fine from both the speakers and headphones.

Interesting. When I say poor, I don't mean static or choppy. I mean it has very limited bass or treble, sounds mono. I'll try to wipe and reinstalling again.

Before wiping and re-installing, have you tried other player apps? I've never used the stock music player on either JB or ICS so i'm not sure what advice to offer on that, in the event it solves the sound issues it would save you flashing and installing everything.

Steve did not mean any harm, but he also did not explain what he meant so let's not juump to conclusions.
The post was abrupt and could have been taken as a flaming post instead of a warning.
Let's all spend a few extra seconds when posting to be very clear.
