[Q] Trouble Mounting SD Card on Two Acer A200s
I recently bought two used A200s and I want them running CM10.
CM10 link : http://www.4shared.com/get/SOQ-BpLg/...0-MKalter.html
found on the last page of this forum :http://www.acertabletforum.com/forum...1-12-a-11.html
For the first one I unlocked the Bootloader with "fastboot oem unlock" and then flashed all three of the following recoveries with
"fastboot flash recovery filename.img"
Thor custom with touch
Nic's TWRP 2.1 stable
recoveries found on :http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Acer_Iconia_A200
However none of them are able to mount internal or external SD cards. So, I'm unable to transfer the CM10 zip file to the tablet and install it. Windows detects a device with no drivers, but its probably the ADB. Partitioning the SD card in the recovery, allows me to mount /System but /SDcard is still unable to mount.
and this is where I'm stuck. I've already formatted /system and userdata so this tablet is no longer able to boot into OS. It currently has stock recovery installed and both devices are using boot loader 0.03.06-ICS.
For the second tablet I used Acer A200 Simple Tools from this forum : http://www.acertabletforum.com/forum...-tab-a200.html
ran the bat file, unlocked bootloader, rooted, and install CWM with this tool. Which means for sure my ADB and fastboot drivers are properly installed. I even transferred CM10.zip to the internal storage while the tablet was in the OS. And everything worked as expected. However when I boot into CWM, it is unable to mount the SD card.
So recap: Both devices can not mount /sdcard. However the internal storage works fine in OS. Could one someone tell me how to flash a rom via fastboot? I've tried "fastboot flash rom filename.zip" , "fastboot upgrade filename.img" but each results in an error.
Maybe I could NVflash it? I've done this to my gTablet many times. Since this is a a Tegra processor shouldn't they both ave NVflash?
Sorry for the long post, but I thought more detail would be better.
I've tried flashing the original f/w back to these tablets with flashboot, (fastboot flash zip update.zip) but it always gets stuck on FAILED <remote:<000300003>>
I've tried putting the Update.zip on a external 16GB SD card and running booting recovery, so it automatically installs, but no go there either.
Using the second tablet I can confirm ICS bootloader and running Andriod 4.03, kernal 18.104.22.168+
