what's inside this what they distributed ?
ive got it extracted E430(Optimus L3II)_Android_JB_E43010b containing
kernel.tar.gz 109 MB/ 113 MB unpacked
android.tar.gz 63.8 MB/ 233 MB unpacked
https://www.lg.com/global/support/o...tegoryId=CAT00000001&osCategoryId=CAT00000002

aren't these things that make it lg android ? it says in help file to merge this with clean jb and u can flash

so doesn't it contain drivers ?
Tree Included

@slipsystem
@linuxxxx
do you know whats inside ?

flashed it and seems fine will update

kernel sources
ofcourse it must contain all drivers need by ur device

and do make device tree manually by hand

l3 e400 was an unlocked device
so check wat it shows when u type adb reboot bootloader

http://xdaforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2615027&d=1394043628 tree of source in .txt files

do you know what to look for to unlock bootloader ?
this is not device tree

device tree looks like this https://github.com/pure4-Lg-L3/android_device_lge_e400
it must contain most make files and propritories too

Usually lg devices require a pre-unlocked bootloader, that must be flashed via kdz / Adb shel dd ecc, I don't think that OEM unlock will unlock it, if yes better

nope you are wrong
in order to flash firmware via kdz there is no rule it requires pre-unlocked bootloader

there is a reason why people flash back stock firmware using kdz to re-lock boatloader
in some some high end devices like lg Nexus 4 or nexus 5

but some devices like l3 e400 hav pre-unlocked bootloader

I don't think that OEM unlock will unlock it, if yes better

ya no harm in trying

lol.... there a lot of tutorials on xda to setup adb and fastboot for your devices
you need to set your device for development

i prefer u use ubuntu 12.04 lts 64bit
but windows too can get the job done for u .......................!!! ;)

how to make/compile device tree ?
i managed to dump everything from phone

device tree cannot be compiled
its done manually by hand OR any other dev should have did it for your device

or if you hav a lot of spare time u can do this using this tutorial http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Doc:_porting_intro#Set_up_three_new_directories
it needs a lot of testing like trial and error methords

so out of that and lg source code ?
or how ?

in lg source source code u wont find any device tree

and y u need device tree now
1st u need to unlock bootloader
before that check if the bootloader is locked ;)

u can check by using adb or fastboot

---------- Post added at 09:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:04 PM ----------

@sooorajjj

* daemon started successfully *
shell@android:/ $ su
su
shell@android:/ # fastboot oem unlock
fastboot oem unlock
sh: fastboot: not found
127|shell@android:/ #

to do this make sure u are in bootloader or else fast boot wont wrk

just put device in debugging mod
connect it to ur pc
thendo
Code:
adb devices
it must show ur device as attached

then
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
now after that fastboot commands must wrk

    Seriousely Custom ROM's brings tragedy at everyones home and family.It's clear that you don't know apsoluthely nothing about developing ROM's mods and kernels and leave that to the people who knows and have expiriences like Mobile Phones Manifactures and Google and Microsoft.And you developers please stay out of it before you bring people the accident and tragedy at home and their family that almost happened to me with my family at home there was huge horrified and terrible fights provoked and caused by Custom ROM's and yours developers Custom Developing don't fix something what ain't broken.Very Seriousely.To someone people their smartphones are their life and their life depends on it in one word by playing with their smartphones you are playing with their lifes and with life and health of their parents and their entire families.Report me as much as you like with infractions points and delete this my post but you can't change this real life fact.What I just said very seriousely.
    You developers with yours Custom ROM's almost caused and provoked an monstrous and unforgivable tragedy with yours developing my birth mother could die last night because of your custom rom's.Your Custom ROM's could kill and murder my birth mother last night.So please Stop with developing before you for real take away someone's life and life of their family.Smartphones are good but also can be deadly and dangerous and a real threat for someone's life.

    Just a point to step in and say:

    Flashing is serious business and there is no compulsion, luring or tempting done by anyone. It is your decision to flash or not. Developers here are doing for themselves and share their work with others. THAT'S IT. Stop complaining for not doing things in the right way or not understanding what you would be doing.

    If you are not happy with something, please return back to what the Mobile manufacturer has given you.

    Thanks for the understanding

    Note: I am not deleting your post as it will be a reminder for those who dont read or understand that FLASHING IS SERIOUS BUSINESS
