Ok I have tried options 1 and 2 under rooting options and the only recovery that would flash was Phil and I side loaded su. When I check for root access it is denied. Can someone help please? I am coming from HTC devices and I'm new to rooting samsung

V1.2.5 adds a fix in the rooting section for the "Superuser/SuperSU has stopped" message that is caused by KNOX. You can download v1.2.5 from http://www.skipsoft.net/?wpdmpro=wpdmpro&download=29 or upgrade to the pro version and have the updates pushed directly to your pc.I go through all steps and it even side loads su. But when I go to rootchecker it says I don't have root. Then I get the su has stopped msg

Philz is the only recovery that will load on the phone when I try cwm or twrp I get an error

No insecure boot image is required for the ALLINONE procedure anymore.My only question is, if I choose the all in one option, do I need a boot image, an insecure boot image or neither?

Thanks Mark the updated toolkit worked. in less than 5 min I was done. I do have one question is this permanent root or will I loose recovery if reboot. I read somewhere about this happening and was curious

All I wanted to do was root the thing to flash a stock rooted 4.4.2!
Edit FIXED! I used Odin to flash stock recovery. [Red]Any one want to spoon feed me on how to obtain root from stock 4.3?[/Red]
