Dont have a windows pc bootloader help req

Hi all

First time post so, sorry if I **** it up

I am trying to upgrade my A500 from HC, to ICS its on version, 3.01 and a HC boot loader ,

I have managed to boot into Team Win Project v2,1.3, but on a reboot it get stuck on the acer boot screen , so I need to install a ICS bootloader

but I only have a linux ubuntu machine ( ubuntu 12.04) using wine the bootloader .exe will open but I cant type anything

So , IS there a linux version , or a way of doing the bootloader.

I kind of understrand but Im not to sure any help about anything would be greatfully received

don't quote me but i think you can just run nvflash commands in ubuntu to flash the BL...i'm linux illiterate m8 so not much use to u but try this

Thank you for your kind reply , Google is a wonderful thing isn't it , but to make it work one needs to know what to look for , for example nVflash

armed with this , Google isn't so hard after all ...

Ok , not happening ,

I can boot into "Team win recovery project" but cant install any roms , ( I think) because TWRP need an unlocked bootloader so I used Nvflash

Bus 007 Device 002: ID 046d:c52e Logitech, Inc.
Bus 002 Device 022: ID 0502:3325 Acer, Inc. Iconia tablet A500

but
Flashing G Tablet with base images...
Nvflash started
USB device not found
Done!

a little further in APX mode

s@s-desktop:~/Desktop/nvflash.1.1$ sudo ./nvflash --bct gtablet.bct --setbct --bl bootloader.bin --configfile gtablet.cfg --create --go
Nvflash started
rcm version 0X4
Command send failed (usb write failed)
