Hi and Happy New Year.
I have the last V20o on my mobile but faces the following problem.
When left the mobile stand-by several hours especially at night after not receive calls.
Test from a different phone I do call on mine and told me that "The subscriber probably has the phone off".
Should I call or do I restart to return to Normal state!
This problem we also have and another owners with V20o and even with different providers.
Besides this rom(V20o)is very good and I would appreciate if Hell_97 could look at this problem.
Best Regard

Edit:With V20m we dont have this problem.

Have you flashed baseband too? Maybe that could be the problem. You should try v20m baseband and v20o RIL...

Ril comes with the 20o by default. My baseband is 1035.2110725. I guess its from the stock 20m I put on there a couple of weeks ago.

I rooted it, flashed this one but do have the "unavailable" problems.

Did you try with another ril. I had problems with the provided ril as well, since it might have been optimized for the italian users. you can use getril from market, but i recommend that you have a wifi connection as well, when you try it out.
I really like this release. The biggest problem i have, is that a lot of apps is missing from the market.

Thank you very very much man, will be trying this, testing. Merry XMas!

What about Baseband? Can 0725 from v20L stay or should it be flashed from v20m?
In your oppinion?

Hello,
Has anyone figured out which baseband is compatible with V20o?
I flashed V20o from V20M. (V20M was installed through LG official update from V10D and then rooted with NVFlash method.)

I faced the signal loss problem like many others as I can see.

I did the following tests with V20O the past few days if that helps:
1) I flashed the 1st time the no-wipe version and I first discovered the signal-loss problem.
2) I flashed the "wipe" version and did a restore of my apps with Titanium
3) Installed the GETRIL app and changed the RIL to V20L,Italy (the one I had in V20M)
4) I flashed it again and left it as it is with no extra apps and no restore from backup.

Nothing worked.
BTW I downloaded the 725-V20M-Baseband.zip from http://www.mediafire.com/temasek
but it contains no instructions how to flash it. Does anyone knows how?
Thanks

This is what i did and worked as a charm (copied from a few posts b4)

I flashed one fls after the other, in size order (r375, aeneas, slb, psi). Upon flashing each one, i disconnect the phone when i see the (2nd) LG logo (when at 100% and green 'completed' appears at smartflash u momentarilly see the LG logo, then the software update screen again, then black screen and then the LG logo again - right after that), close Smartflash, open it again, connect phone and repeat the flashing with the next fls.
as seen on Android.Modaco.com forums

If the flashing fails on some file, don't worry. Try to flash immediatelly afterwards or experiment with when to begin flashing. It will work eventually.

Btw ... I flashed V20o ROM over V20l BB and the battery was awfull, FD related wake locks all the time (at least thats what I believe) plus signal losses / gsm radio freezes. After flashing V20m BB, everything is OK, yet to experience signal loss.

Thank you,
Keep us posted if you have any signal losses. It happens after some hours in stand-by. The best way to check is in the morning when you wake up call your phone from your land line.

Yes, just like Paul wrote on Modaco is the way.

I had error on 3rd and 4th file but just choose it again and flash and all ok, no worries.
No problems like that, but will try to call myself right in the morning tomorrow...

Before I go through 4 heart-attacks or strokes to smartflash the 4 files of 20M BB, is there a way to find out what BB I have now?
Few days after I bought it, I smartflashed the stock V20L (fls, bin files), my phone comes from Netherlands, so when original V20M came out I went back to V10d where I was supposed to be (with smartflash again) and then updated to V20M with official LG update. So my BB now should be V20M. Right?

Yes, you have v20m and that is the latest, so thats ok, just check your RIL with GetRIL and download if doesn'm match.

I installed BB on 20L and ril 20o were constantly missing calls.
with ril 20l + bb 20l until everything is working well.
--------------------
у меня был установлен BB от 20L и с ril 20o постоянно были пропущенные звонки.
с ril 20l + bb 20l пока всё хорошо работает.

Could you be more specific?
You mean now you have the leaked V20o ROM with V20L BB and RIL?

yes, my ROM leaked V20o + BB from 20L + RIL 20L
Now even the battery holds a charge of at least 1.5 times greater.
check my recommendation

Any new status of the signal loss problem from any of you running V20o ROM?

I am thinking of downgrading (from V20M) to V20L with KDZ flashing method and give another try to V20o over V20L BB.
But before doing it I'd like to have an update status.

Please report !!!!

I have installed V20O update over V20L, and I have no signal loss problem. Running >1 week without problem. Using V20L baseband.

only *.kdz firmwares installs non wipe if I am correct

i was modify the original ROM by removing the line converting partitions from ext4 to ext3, then if you have stock 2.3 on ext3, you can try this rom without wipe data and apps, but first you have to make a wipe dalvik cache and wipe cache partition in recovery...

Your data and apps will be not deleted...

Solution of the file sharing pages ;)

Filesonic is really sucks, but there is a lot of other file share page, which are sucks too. Try to get premium account on these pages, and it will be work great for you. For examply in this page they DAILY upload some premium account username and password pairs (filesonic is daily refreshed :)), and it is really work (for some bigger sharing page).
These accounts is alive for a day, after that you should try a newer account what they uploaded ;)
