SYSTEM SETTING/GLOBAL ROAMING/ROAMING CLOCK SETTING/uncheck USE ROAMING DUAL CLOCK

install this zip through recovery and reboot

3. for recovery istall 'lte2_l1m_recovery.apk'

80 SMS limit FIX VIA ROOT EXPLORER

1. Root via above post
2. Install root explorer
3. Open root explorer
4. Go to system/etc click on the line Mount R / W in the top right
5. Set value 'true' to 'false'
6. Open featureset.xml keep on file select Open in Text Editor
7. Go to line 80 <imtem name="max_user_data_bytes_ex"> </ item> changed to 1000
8. Save & Exit
9. restart.

first root,,install apk as istruction given
then istall recovery
you will go to recovery from recovry app in mobile
just reboot and you will reach your recovery

Nice to see any thread related to this phone. While I am using Vietnam Rom Called Sling 1.5.3 which has everything smooth and perfect but the only thing I am facing is Language issue here in Pakistan as you know RTL languages are not supported in this phone while having Jellybean which should support it. To be short I want to know if there is any way to bring RTL( Arabic,Urdu,Hebrew) support?

3g 4g switch

Hello, this worked for me very nicely thank you!
Do you know if there is a way to have a switch just for 2g or just for 3g? It only has on or off..

1. Download KDZ http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=19

LGT/LG U+(KOREA) V20d LGF160LV 891.35 MiB or
LGT/LG U+(KOREA) V20f LGF160L 878.34 MiB or
LGT/LG U+(KOREA) V20g LGF160L
2. Download Attached ZIP file http://www.mediafire.com/download/04n6a99dp8gq5zh/unbrick_lte2.zip

1) Download the latest KDZ for your phone
check link in attached file

2) Make sure you have LG United Drivers already installed, otherwise download from below
*LGUnitedMobileDriver file in attached zip

3) Download LG KDZ Updater
KDZ_FW_UPD_EN folder in zip

4) Download the manual adb wipe batch file

wipe in attached zip

5) Put your Optimus into Download Mode by switching it off, attaching the usb cable to the phone, holding both the up and down volume buttons at the same time and lastly inserting the usb cable into the computer; wait for the drivers to finish loading if doing it for the first time.

6) run KDZ_FW_UPD.exe. Use the settings below

Type: 3GQCT
Phone Mode: CS_Emergency
KDZ file: navigate to the folder which you have saved the downloaded KDZ from the step (1)

Click Launch Software Update and wait for the flash process to finish

7) Your phone will restart itself when IParam = 90 is displayed and proceed slower until you see IParam=1 again (which signals the end of flash, you can safely exit the program then and remove the cable from the phone). If phone boots up normally, congrats, skip the steps below and proceed to use the phone as per normal

inspir3 Just flash the Rom by above method and give a try
no need to worry...
there are methods to correct baseband..but shortes and quickest method is to flash Rom again

I fixed the problem by flashing KDZ.
While trying to flash KDZ I faced one problem: volume keys and attach USB didn't work to open "Download Mode"
Found some solution to force my phone to boot into Download Mode here
Then Flashed the KDZ and my phone works great

Excellent work but remaing bugs!

I rooted this total thread contents on my LG F160L Optimums II and was facing a inferior problem i.e. after call my screen go black and then all my buttons become freeze.However there is no option in setting lock or unlock durring calls even i also checked in system setting but no good luck. "After call screen lock.apk" help me which can block to going sleep or screen-off by unchecked all options except last "Proximity Sensor aiding". Now everything is approximately ok! Thanks to all!

i did exactly the same but my message character limit is still 160 characters after that it starts writing MMS please help..

i have one more question....all models of f160 (L,S) etc can be done by the exactly same process changing the keyboard + call to korea ?

Use BigSMS from GooglePlay for long sms mean more than 160 characters. Hope it will help you.

Subscription required

successful rooting and SMS fix.
But after it, voice call not functioning properly, when I try to call someone its says "subscription required"

all are normal, wifi bluetooth, sms.
current OS, Android 4.1.2

Someone have an idea?
