P.S. Waqasshahzad: could you remove/update the 5660M stock firmware from version 1 to version 2? V1 doesn't flash as-is in Odin because the system partition is incorrectly named. (See the early 5660M partition mapping posts for the whole story.)

Maybe you got the wrong mkbootimg? I'll upload mine later when i'm on my laptop...

The source code for the Linux kernel available on github. The kernel for this image was built using the gio_v03_recovery_defconfig configuration. Currently, the CyanogenMod device config isn't available yet, but will be soon.

Hi! i did recovery flash with Odin 4.42 but after that i can't enter Recovery Mode :-( and flasjing to "Original recovery" doesn't work also.

keep pressing home+power button till u enter recovery. Dont stop holding the buttons when u see the logo. U will see the logo twice like your phone is starting up 2 times.

The problem with all the roms listed in the first post of this gigantic thread is that they contain a different modem code and it totally screws up the connection for Canadian carriers. Maybe someone can explain why. I spent 3 days here with hours of trail and error to get this far, haha.

I'm new at this and very confused, all I want is my radio tuner. Bell, you suck! Can you give me a little guidance? I don't understand a lot of the walkthrough's. I did the first step and rooted but when i go into the second stage and tried to install the zip from the SD card is gives me an error and aborts, Do I flash it through Odin? will it mess up my signal? Please help!

yes you have to flash the rom using ODIN , follow the guide for reset of procedure.

Here's the stock FM radio app from the latest Euro/Asia 5660 ROM, deodexed and confirmed working on my 5660M.

On a more general note, take the time to research, read and understand what you're doing. Failure to do this significantly increases your odds of ending with a messed up phone... Feel free to ask more specific questions here.

I've been installed A2SDGui and A2SD script on SimpliGio 1.2 then move Delvik cache to SD-EXT partition but I have "Not enough space" message.
I've tried clear or remove all apps then try again but it's same error.
How can I move Delvik cache to SD-EXT. I'm using S5660XXKQ3 with SimpliGio

simpligio v1.2 doesnt support A2SD. only link2sd.

KQG Request -
A2SD doesn't work, gives the issue 'not enough space'.
I've tried the Boot.img from Waqas, that was built for KQB, it does make A2SD work, but Wifi stops working after that.

Can someone pls send me a hacked boot.img update for KQG? Thanks!!

About swype, you can just delete the existing one (using root explorer) and download the multilanguage version from official site. You just have to sign up.
