[ROMS] Gingerbread, CyanogenMod 9 with 2.6.35.14 preRC, MIUI 2.2.24 Build One

so anyway wanted to share some words with you guys. i think that all our gt540 needs is fully working 2.2 rom, and i think everyone would prefer CM version. gingerbread eats too much ram, and ICS, even more and they are so ****ing slow even on 825 mhz. so i think thats too much for our optimus, so why don't we focus on making 2.2 rom with .32 or even .35 (correct me if i'm wrong with those kernels) and put as much mods as we can.

we do have so many good 2.2 roms just look for them

.32 one is fastest for 2.2 and pcfighter made one
.29 is recommended (use utopia its the best)

and we have superfast froyo openswift froyo, scorpia made froyo and some more

edit:
and for gingerbread: sdsl /asis are very very good roms

we have to look for the future:
- we do have many rock stable "old" ROMs its time to get something new, excitiong which helps the community to stay alive.
imagine we would have one 2.2 which is working good & stable, everyone'd use it but what will going on here?

we need possibly many people and many devs and gt540 will stay alive

you maybe didn't understand me and i maybe didn't wrote that right. so i tried almost every 2.2 rom and they had .29 and honestly, i didn't liked them at all. so few days before i tried that cm6 with .32 kernel and it's damn great. but there is one big bug that has to be fixed, wifi is not working (and maybe fix for manual network search). and yeah, we need devs that develop ICS gingerbread etc. so that community stays alive, big like on that. hope you guys don't misunderstand me this time

If you want to get keyboard working, install HTC_IME and Clicker from here:

Next copy libt9*.so (included in zip) to /system/lib/ and change permissions to 644 (rw-,r--,r--). There are problems with t9, so better disale it from htc options.

I flashed the package and disabled T9 in the Android Keyboard Settings,
whats my gfault cuz keyboard still doesnt want to appear ;D

Delete LatinIME.apk + enable HTC_ime. Working.

But no deep sleep, setcpu FC, cnt found some libs - maybe same error for latinime?? (Like SD card cant refresh automatically after copy over USB)

how come?

also how do i disable T9, i cant seem to find it in the android keyboard settings
