There's no vvm apk. You can pull it from another rom and push it into system/app. I think that will fix it.

Tip for future: pushing it to system app from another rom isn't necessary for that one, you can simply download visual voicemail from the play store and even have it installed on SD card. That's the way I do it and I get my notifications.

Uhh, you realize that this is "ALL" of the apk's in the stock KJ6. Not all of it is bloatware. Don't delete stuff like browser, phone, dialertabactivity, systemUI, settings stuff, media provider stuff, download provider stuff, contacts, mms,,//// etc...Here's a great source for "bloatware" apk's http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1500701
I do this as well. Also, I have been having a youtube app forcecloseure issue that Ive been meaning to report. I have a logcat, but I dont know if I did it right. If not let me know lol i feel like a noob
Added another file that just has all lines with the keyword youtube, idk if that helps :/

I figured that one out recently also. Forgot about it since I add the apk to the zip before flashing. Great tip!
Thanks for the clarification. I didn't mean to imply that it was a list of of things that are safe to remove, just that the GB apk's could be found there. I edited my post in case someone doesn't read down this far.
I also delete the browser and use Dolphin.

Thanks for the ROM! Works great, except it seems that part of Swype is broken.... the voice->text recognition part.
I press the button, and it just gets stuck on "speak now".
I've tried:
- completely removing swype and verifying there are no leftover files by searching the directories
- fixing permissions
- wiping the ROM, reflash, resetting data, wiping cache, etc. several times
Note: I am using a different kernel from the included one though. This one:

well that's what i'm trynig to figure out and why i posted.
worked fine under froyo. if someone else could test it for me under this rom, then i'll know if it's something specific to me, or to the rom.
i highly doubt it's a problem with swype. i don't think they'd break an entire feature like that and then release it to the masses.
