i was on 4.3 and used safestrap to install a kitkat rom, and instead of going back to 4.3 via safestrap i just followed this link

that got me back to 4.3 but the OTA to kitkat is not working, it is failing in recovery. Also when i reboot, where is says "Note 3", right under it is CUSTOM with a unlocked symbol. i followed the link i provided twice with it still not working... what can i do?
