Use ICS SD Binder (free). Select "Bind SD to the new mount point" and "Unmount original mount point".
Leave Original "mount point /mnt/emmc" unchanged. and type a name of the folder you want in "New mount point(type folder name)"
Now you should be able to see your internal SD as a folder which you have named in the new mount point.
Incidentally when connected to computer if you are not able see external and internal storage.....you can use "USB Mass Storage" from XDA http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1389375&page=16
Hope the information is useful
In root explorer, I can see the contents of my internal SD in both /emmc and /mnt/emmc. I have tried naming the folder external_sd and internal_sd with ICS binder, using the settings you referenced. Where should I see this folder? MIUI picture gallery and MIUI music player can't see any of the files on my internal SD
My advice , use other apps as replacement
home launcher > go launcher
file explorer > file expert
music > poweramp
gallery > quickpic
as examples
Yea but the camera won't work

That's weird ..
Native Camera is working fine for me
There is also : Camera ICS [ free at market ] app , try that one !
Mine isn't working because I am using Thor kernel and the system doesn't see my internal SD It says please insert an SD card.

I don't have an external SD. I tried deselecting the options, and uninstalling the ICS Binder app, but still no luck. Looks like I will have to go back to the stock kernel. Thanks Pablo.
