Mind I ask, what firmware do you have? And are you using something like CM because you transferred everything and all your info to your phone at once? I'm new to Sony and I'm not that familiar with it's rooting process, I for SURE don't wan a brick! Samsungs are more of my specialty but I need just some quick tips preferably from someone who already has done it. (I've seen the forums on here about rooting/troubleshooting as it's sometimes darn confusing!)
Thanks for the info on FedEx shipping out your phone though, hope you enjoy your device! I can't wait or mine, it's coming Friday!
Im now on stock 532 fw. Updated using Sony PC Companion (mac). Root was done using VRoot (simple process), i followed the instruction on post 3 of this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2446502
. Contacts, chat logs, datas was imported from Note1 using SPC also. Just download an app called "xperia transfer" on your old phone and do an extraction. SPC will guide you. Music, movies, pictures were on my old micro sd card, so that was easy. LTE Tmobile works really fast on this phone. Im very happy with its performance thus far. I had a bit of trouble when it comes to charging the phone, the charge kept on flickering back and forth between charging and discharging, never constant. It turned out that i had a faulty wall usb block connector...the cable is ok..the usb block was too weak i guess..anyhow, i just use the iphone block, and that kept the charge constant now. Oh, as for emails, i had to manually set up each account. No biggies. At this stage, ive also backed my phone up using SPC and also Titanium Backup app.
