Question [Q] I9100G JB kernel supporting overclocking

Hello!
I flashed Vanilla Rootbox 2.6.1 JB rom to my I9100G from here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1814532
It is running smoothly but I found out that the kernel with it does not support overclocking. I searched and found 2 kernels -
1. horsepower 3.0.0 http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1749591
2. TWRP 2.2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1782677
Are both of these compatible with my system? Also i am going to upgrade to Vanilla rootbox v2.7 shortly. is it necessary to flash the kernel before the rom?
Thank you!

[I9100G][Kernel][AOSP+Stock/ICS+JB][Core2 on/off][OC/UV][GPU 384mhz] Horsepower 3.0.0 Kernel can be used on:

- Every AOSP based rom (e.g. AOKP, CM9, Rootbox...) is OK...

[I9100G][Kernel][ICS & JB][AOSP][TWRP 2.2]Team Win Recovery Project (Touch recovery) Tested on CM9 nightlies/CM10 experimental. It should work on other AOSP-based ROMs, but please tell me if you have any problems....

Tick and untick usb debugging while usb is plugged in and then in device manager, click on scan for hardware changes and whatever comes there with yellow mark, click on update sftware>update automatically and it should automatically load drivers
