Great Job! Great ROM!

However: I installed this ROM just a few hours ago and i recognised that there is no multi user support. Simon94, could you implement that feature?

Youtube

I am experiencing some lags in youtube vidoes (only in youtube app). That is, every 10s or so the video stops for a split second, audio is fine. Using third party youtube apps works fine, also mx player is doing great.

Is there anything special about the youtube app, which is causing these lags?

Note: I have been updating since CM10.1. If noone else is experiencing this problem, I might make a fresh install, but Id only want to do this, if this really helps. My girlfriends kills me everytime I need to "work" on the tablet...

YouTube works fine here. Running the 01/22 build updated from a fresh 01/13 install.

Keep up the good work guys! Loving KitKat on my N8020!

I had the same issue... here's what I did:

Restore a previous (working) backup. (I went back to stock and rooted.)
Flash the CWM in the first post.
Flash The KitKat ROM.
Flash Gapps.
Wipe Dalvik Cache.
Wipe Cache partition.
Reboot.
Enjoy :D

That should be it

How did you flash this zip file of CM I'm use to odin?

Thanks in advance
To flash zip files, first copy the files to your device.
Enter Recovery mode by holding Power + Vol up.
Flash the zip through recovery...
Oh I forgot, after flashing CM11 also flash the Gapps zip in the first post.

I found that recovery is still a bit buggy. I use 515 build or Simons new build from his cm11 thread. Good luck!

Hi
Should N801X hold out any hope for CM11 or is it time for a hardware upgrade?

... the bigger one is that google play services is continously in FC, I tried to install a new one, changed the playstore, added an extra account, deleted cache of the app and much more.

I had the same problem. Just try another gapps package from goo.im. I actually used the standard package. Wiped Cache and Dalvik, just to be shure. After rebooting and updating all apps, everything worked perfect. No more FCs.
