Front facing camera

I know there's no new development happening, but hoping someone has an idea..

The front-facing camera works for still pics but when I switch to video, it switches back to the main camera. Any suggestions on how to fix. I'd rather not change ROMs as everything else is working nicely.

You can't take video using the front camera. At least that's how it is on my stock rooted setup.

So I am trying to swap settings and settings provider from RR build 3 into my RR build 3.1 system/app folder but it does not change the fc issue. Is that all you copied when you did it?

You have to copy the facelock.apk from 3.0 and then place it in the 3.1 system/app folder, make sure permissions are correct after. Then reboot. You shouldn't try swapping out anything else, otherwise yes you probably will get more FCs.
