You only need a hard Reset , shut down your phone , hold volum down and power , make a hard reset and you good to go

I did that but I am stuck with the little green robot and the blue line below forever now...

try handsent/handcent? sms. it should be able to do 160

wow....
handcent can send an sms of as many characters i want, even more than 160 :p
it automatically adjusts them into splitted msgs i think :p

so now i am on official ICS with everything working except root...
i upgraded from a rooted P930 rom on LU6200 to ICS 4.0.4 and tried the root method stated in the P930 rom guide but it didnt work, tried unlockroot as well but it also didnt work. just waiting for something new to come up...

Can't hook back to the network after lost signal

I flashed the official ICS successfully and installed the latest firmware update to it too, but every time I lose signal (elevator, tunnel, etc.), the phone can't hook back up to the network, so I stay out of reach until I notice it and turn the 3G/4G toggle in the notificaiton bar on/off once, then it hooks back up to the network. Any ideas?

Which firmware version did you flash and which provider are you on?
Did you try use 2G Network only (just for testing)?

thanks, bro, I typed 5457 # * 6200 # in the keypad, and the phone was set on the "Global + LTE" option by dedault, so I changed it to Auto GSM/WCDMA, since my provider doesn't yet have an LTE network up and running, and now all is well :) It seems that it has just been searching for an LTE network first, and when it couldn't find it, just hung and stayed out of service...
