This is the last option.
You could repair for itself.

I knew the risk and took it. I've been with AT/T for longer then I can care to remember and if one return in 15 years is gonna break them I can take my business elsewhere. We have 6 lines with them in that time and only had to use the warranty 3 times in all these years so their P/L figures are good with my account. The repair center didn't even ask what happened, tried to power it on, out a different battery still a no go and said it's toast and going back to Samsung to figure out why.
If I get charged believe me it will be reversed.

Ok, good luck.
But a wrong kernel is not that hard to repair, I think.
I really don't know nothing about your phone.

Believe me I searched. Once the Sgs3 on att will not power up and shows no sign of life when plugged into a PC and all u get is QHSU or something of that sort you are screwd. Other then a JTAG repair which will run me $100 or less and be without my phone for at least 3 days would rather just return it and get a replacement like I did.

well remember it wasn't that it was a wrong kernel (which it was) but that it was flashed to a partition that wasn't even for a kernel on his phone.
this flashes the kernel to /dev/block/mmcblk0p5 which is the correct mmc block on the gs 2. but on the gs 3 that clearly is a partition that you don't want to write into. I don't know what it is off the top of my head but i'm sure we could find out. either way, yea jtag might have been the only valid recovery if the phone showed no signs of life.

I just flashed a new rom from ported section, JelyBam.

I did a full wipe and was about to format everything when i remembered that the rom was on download folder.
Not a problem since i always have AeSedai on my external so i could use the file manager to copy the rom before format the S.. out.

AeSedai works on that ROM!

mrRobbinson, please chack the Gapps on that ROM. Everything is 4.2. The Gmail is great.
But there is a funny thing. That topic has 2 OPs. 2 roms there. I did flashed the one from Iconrunner(page 16). The other one(mLaws90) i dont know.

MrRobinson, can you update your Aroma with the latest CM10 kernel?
There is a guy porting 4.21 asking for a flasheable of the latest that supposed to support this version.
Are you still on?

THANKS.
Mlaws90 is desperate in need of cm kernel to 4.21.

PS. Another good add to AeSedai could be the Sony Walkman app. You can find it on ported JellyBan topic.
Great app!
Ask IconRunner or Mlaws90.
