Running Task650 Battery in sig. Didnt last that long because I took my phone of the charger as soon as it got to 100% so it didnt have the few extra hours of charging time. But with 6hrs of screen time its good though.

- Garnet Red Samsung Galaxy SIII i747

- Task650

- Stock Kernel

Running's Task's 5/9 AOKP with his packaged Underwear kernel. Running 189-1512 and have modified interactive so that the hispeed_freq is at 810 instead of 1134. You can see that about 12 hours of this battery life was spent in airplane mode. The first stint was due to being in an area of little to no service and the second was overnight. I was very satisfied with this battery life on a stock battery.*

Default Battery drain

Speaking with a helpful young programmer around here help my drain issues a lot. I had to unplug at 5:30am for work, and wouldn't have access to charge again until 5:30pm. On most days, I would still see 20-40% battery left, but somedays, I would loose 50% by 10am, and be dead by noon. I have several chargers around from the myriad other electronics i "play" with, and had a habit of just grabbing the closest one. He say's to me that I should go a week with only the factory cable, and factory adapter, and see how it went. I tried this, and my battery problems disappeared. Apparently. not all cables are created equally, and the ones that do not work quite right, may still charge your device, but in disconnecting it causes wake-locks on some system apps. For me, It was Gallery, and Cell Standby. There were many more on other checks. A quick reboot after unplugging resets the wake locks, so if you have a faulty cable and have to use it, try rebooting as soon as you unplug. Worked for me, before i just threw the other cables away. Now on a moderate use 10 hour day, I come home with 50-60-%battery,

My Battery life is not that bad i think, around 5hrs of screen time, 12-14hrs total, but it is weird how "Android System" takes a big chunk of battery juice, is JB reporting wrong information here? i have tried logging running processes and their CPU usage is minimum, so, what is happening here?

Mine runs on CSROM 1.5 "the bmb!".
