Miracast / Wireless Display Max Resolution Support
I have the HTC One phone and have been unable to connect it via Miracast to a Netgear PTV3000 at highest resolution. For me the Miracast connection always establishes at 720p instead of the preferred native 1080p TV resolution. The PTV3000 during the "boot/waiting for connection process" does appear in 1080p. During the initial Miracast connection setup, the phone is physically located within inches of the PTV3000 device. I tried the PTV3000 2.4.19 public firmware as well as the 2.4.22 beta firmware but neither resolves the issue. There is little documentation available about HTC's Miracast/Wireless Display support and I'm not sure if the phone even supports 1080p Miracast. I'm stumped on this issue. I'm interested to hear if anyone has the HTC One connected via Miracast at full 1080p. I've also tried using Miracast support on the Nexus 7 2013 tablet and Sony Xperia Z tablet and have the same results (connect only at 720p, No 1080p support).
