Question- Kernel Cleaning scripts?

I can't seem to find any kernel cleaning scripts anymore anyone have any links for good scripts?

What do you need it for? You can just wipe cache and dalvik. Some kernels place files in /system/etc so you could look at that and delete those files if necessary

Kernel cleaning scripts are nonsense, no need for them.

Seeing as most kernel recovery flashable zips contain a cleaner script, there must be some point to them.

Due to that you generally shouldn't need a standalone cleaner, but here's a good one from the GLaDOS thread anyway:

If you look at the cleaner script included with kernels they format cache and dalvik. You can do this in recovery before flashing zip.

The ONLY thing I do if I'm coming from a kernel that has replaced my ramdisk is to relfash my original kernel, or ROM, before flashing a kernel that doesn't replace the ramdisk. Otherwise, no "cleaning" is done.
